The Nigerian Air Force says it has carried out a successful air strike against what it described as a key terrorist logistics hub in the Southern Tumbuns area of Borno State.
In a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the air force said the operation was conducted on 14 December 2025 at Dabar Masara, following credible intelligence on sustained terrorist activity in the area.

According to the statement, the Air Component of Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai carried out coordinated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions which identified a suspected terrorist workshop and several vehicles hidden under vegetation. The location was assessed as an active logistics base supporting terrorist operations.
Further surveillance on the day of the strike reportedly confirmed the presence of armed fighters moving around the site and the concealed vehicles. The air force said the targets were engaged after positive identification and in line with the rules of engagement.

A post-strike battle damage assessment indicated that the vehicles were destroyed and that terrorist elements at the location were neutralised.
The Nigerian Air Force said the operation underlined its continued commitment to intelligence-driven and precision air operations aimed at disrupting terrorist supply networks and improving security in affected parts of the country.
