The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has felicitated with Muslims across Nigeria on the celebration of Eid el-Kabir, urging them to support the ongoing reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu aimed at repositioning the country for sustainable growth and prosperity.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, Yilwatda described Eid el-Kabir as a sacred festival of faith, sacrifice, obedience, love and devotion to Almighty Allah.
He noted that the celebration symbolises the virtues of selflessness, unity, compassion, tolerance and total submission to the will of God, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
According to the APC chairman, the lessons of sacrifice, patience, perseverance and collective responsibility embedded in the festival are critical to Nigeria’s development at this stage.

Yilwatda urged Nigerians, particularly the Muslim Ummah, to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, national unity and harmony across ethnic, religious and political divides.
He also called on Nigerians to continue supporting the administration of President Tinubu, saying the ongoing reforms are targeted at improving infrastructure, strengthening national security, creating jobs and ensuring long-term economic stability.
The APC chairman acknowledged that the reforms may require patience and shared sacrifice, but maintained that they are necessary steps toward restoring economicstability, strengthening institutions and securing a brighter future for Nigerians.
He further appealed to citizens to use the Eid celebration to pray for peace, unity, security and progress in the country, as well as divine wisdom for leaders at all levels.
Yilwatda also prayed for peace, joy, good health and abundant blessings for Muslim faithful during and after the celebration.
