APC Hails Tinubu, Wike Over New Judicial Infrastructure in Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for the completion and commissioning of key judicial infrastructure projects in Abuja.

According to a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the projects include a new Court of Appeal Complex, 20 residential units for Court of Appeal Justices and Federal High Court Judges, as well as the planned commissioning of another 20 housing units for judges of the Federal Capital Territory High Court.

The ruling party also applauded the groundbreaking ceremony for residential quarters being constructed for judges of the National Industrial Court and the Code of Conduct Tribunal, which are expected to be completed by January 2027.

The APC said the projects demonstrate the Tinubu administration’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting the rule of law and enhancing the independence and welfare of judicial officers.

The party noted that improved court facilities and quality accommodation for judges would contribute to more efficient justice delivery and strengthen public confidence in the judiciary.

It also praised Wike for what it described as his leadership and timely execution of infrastructure projects in the FCT in line with the administration’s development agenda.

According to the APC, the investment in judicial infrastructure reflects the government’s broader commitment to institutional reforms and the consolidation of democratic governance.

The party added that the projects, unveiled as the administration marks its third anniversary in office, underscore the importance of effective justice delivery and respect for the rule of law in Nigeria’s development.
