APC Urges Citizens to Enrol in Nationwide Electronic Membership Registration

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on party members and supporters across the country to take part in its ongoing electronic membership registration exercise. The initiative, currently underway in all wards in Delta State, other states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, is part of efforts to update and expand the party’s national register.

In a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, existing members were urged to validate their records, while new and intending members were encouraged to enrol. The party said eligible registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number.

According to the statement, the electronic registration system is intended to digitise the party’s membership data, strengthen the integrity of its records and ensure faster access to information for planning and management. The APC said the process would also promote internal democracy and reinforce its commitment to modern political administration.

The party urged Nigerians willing to join its ranks to take advantage of the ongoing exercise, describing the APC as the country’s “progressive family.”
