Troops of the Nigerian Army have disrupted terrorist logistics networks and recovered arms, ammunition and other supplies in coordinated operations across several states within the last 24 hours.
According to the Army the operations were intelligence-driven and targeted at dismantling supply chains, engaging hostile elements and protecting vulnerable communities nationwide.
In Borno State, troops of 192 Battalion ambushed ISWAP/JAS fighters near Kuranabassa Village in Gwoza Local Government Area, forcing them to retreat towards the Mandara Mountains. Items recovered after the encounter included one AK-47 rifle, a magazine loaded with 12 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, a rifle top cover and other materials.
Also in the North-East, troops of 27 Task Force Brigade, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force, intercepted three vehicles carrying suspected terrorist logistics along the Yunusari–Bukarti–Kala/Gamari axis. Five suspects were arrested, while items recovered included solar panels, water pumping machines, construction materials, mobile phones and cash.

In Kogi State, troops of 12 Brigade mounted a snap checkpoint along the Obajana–Kabba Road, intercepting a vehicle conveying suspected logistics. Two couriers were arrested, and 314 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, three AK-47 magazines and mobile phones were recovered.
In Katsina State, troops of 17 Brigade carried out clearance operations in Musawa and Matazu Local Government Areas, destroying several terrorist support structures in multiple villages, including Gidan Mai-Gona, Gidan Dangodo and Sabongari Nagalawa.
In Plateau State, troops under Operation ENDURING PEACE rescued 12 civilians trapped by insurgents and evacuated injured victims for medical treatment.Operations in other regions also yielded results. In Rivers State, troops discovered and handled about 3,250 litres of suspected illegally refined petroleum products in Eleme Local Government Area. In Taraba State, troops of 114 Battalion arrested nine suspected terrorist informants linked to a criminal kingpin and dismantled identified hideouts.
The Army said the operations reflect its continued efforts to dismantle terrorist and criminal networks, disrupt logistics chains and enhance security across the country, while urging the public to provide credible information to support ongoing operations.
