The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has partnered with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation to enhance public awareness on combating corruption and promoting ethical standards in Nigeria’s public service.
The partnership was formalized during a courtesy visit by CCB Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Usman Bello to the Ministry.

Minister Mohammed Idris emphasized the importance of public enlightenment, noting many public servants are unaware of the Bureau’s functions beyond asset declaration.
He stressed the need for ongoing awareness efforts to address this gap and highlighted the Bureau’s preventive role in stopping corruption before it occurs.

Dr. Bello echoed the need for strategic partnerships, sharing plans for nationwide awareness campaigns, media engagement, capacity building, and effective communication of the Bureau’s activities.
The collaboration aims to foster a culture of integrity and accountability in public service.
