The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has disowned a recruitment update circulating on social media, describing the publication as fake and warning members of the public against acting on the information.
The Service said the purported recruitment notice did not originate from the NCS and should be disregarded.
It advised prospective applicants and members of the public to exercise caution and verify recruitment-related information through the Service’s official communication channels before taking any action or sharing such publications.
The NCS further urged Nigerians to remain vigilant against misleading information on social media, stressing that authentic announcements and updates from the Service are communicated through its verified platforms.
The Service encouraged members of the public to verify the authenticity of information attributed to the NCS before circulating it to others.
