According to a statement signed by Colonel Appolonia Anele, Acting Director of Army Public Relations, the decoration ceremony was held at the Army Headquarters Command Officers’ Mess 1 in Asokoro, Abuja, where 28 Brigadier Generals were elevated to Major General, including one posthumous promotion.
General Musa, who served as the Special Guest of Honour, praised the officers for their professionalism, resilience and long-standing service to the country. He said their promotion reflected their unwavering dedication to national security and positioned them to play decisive roles in shaping the strategic direction of the Army.
