Abuja, Nigeria – Lead Pastor Dipo Fisho of City of Truth and Grace Assembly (CTGA) has called on national leaders to play more proactive roles in promoting development, ensuring adequate security, and fostering national unity and reconciliation in Nigeria.
Delivering his Easter sermon, titled “The Power of Resurrection,” Pastor Fisho emphasized that the message of resurrection is a powerful catalyst for hope and resilience, particularly during times of adversity and economic hardship.
“The power of resurrection inspires us to rise above our challenges and strive for a better tomorrow,” Pastor Fisho said. “As Nigerians, we must draw strength from this message and work towards building a more equitable society.”
The cleric specifically charged national leaders to address the pressing issues of poverty, hardships, inequality, and corruption that have long plagued the nation. “Our leaders have a sacred responsibility to ensure that the needs of the people are met, and that justice and equality are upheld,” he said.

Pastor Fisho stressed that biblical principles should guide policymaking, particularly in addressing Nigeria’s economic challenges. “The power of resurrection should inform our approach to national development and economic growth,” he said, urging governments at all levels to imbibe these principles to drive progress and prosperity.
Furthermore, the cleric called on faith communities to play their part in promoting economic justice and equality in Nigeria. “We must work together to create a society where everyone has access to opportunities and resources,” he said.
In his appeal to Nigerians, Pastor Fisho urged citizens to be inspired by the resurrection message and strive for a more equitable society. “Let us rise above our differences and work towards building a Nigeria where everyone can thrive,” he said.
The Easter message was a call to action, urging national leaders, faith communities, and citizens to work together towards a brighter future for Nigeria.
