The Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, conducted a strategic operational tour of Gidandogo, Garam, and Kungabako villages in Bwari Area Council, along the FCT, Niger, and Kaduna States borders, on April 8th, 2026.
In a release signed by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASP Josephine Adeh on Thursday night, the tour aimed to assess and reinforce security deployments in border communities.

During the tour, CP Sanusi led targeted operations, resulting in the arrest of three suspected kidnappers: Nasiru Abdullahi, Samaila Dahiru, and Bello Usman. Investigations revealed that Abdullahi and Dahiru kidnapped Mallam Bako from Gushawai village, demanding a ₦50 million ransom before his rescue. The suspects were also linked to the abduction of 20 persons in Byazin.
Bello Usman, a notorious informant, was coordinating with Kaduna-based bandits to support FCT criminal operations. One AK-47 rifle, one magazine, and 12 live ammunition rounds were recovered from him.

CP Sanusi assured the public of the Command’s commitment to safety, urging residents to report suspicious activities to emergency lines: 08032003913, 08061581938.
