Halle Bailey Granted Restraining Order Against Ex-boyfriend, DDG

American actress, Halle Bailey has just been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, rapper and content creator DDG.

According to court documents obtained on May 13, the Little Mermaid star made some serious claims, alleging both physical and emotional abuse. DDG has now been legally ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Halle and their baby boy, Halo.

In the filing, Halle didn’t hold back. She submitted photographic evidence showing bruises on her body and a chipped front tooth, images that seem to back up her claims.

But the abuse, according to her, wasn’t just physical but verbal.

“Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts badmouthing me to his several millions of fans,” she said in the court documents. “He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media. He seems to try to set up drama for his fans.”

Now here’s where it gets even deeper. Halle is requesting full custody of their son Halo, at least temporarily. She’s scheduled to film a new project in Italy from June 7 and wants to take Halo along, stating she’ll be traveling with family and a nanny to care for him while she works.

She also made one more big ask of the court, an order banning DDG from mentioning her or Halo on any of his social media platforms.

“He is a YouTube and Twitch blogger and creates a fan frenzy by making false claims about me,” she said. “This has caused me to feel afraid and victimized.”

To put things into perspective, Halle and DDG’s relationship reportedly ended shortly after they welcomed baby Halo in late 2023. What many fans once admired as a cute celebrity couple has now turned into a serious legal battle filled with heavy allegations and protective measures.
