IGP Disu, Service Chiefs Attend UK-Nigeria Security Dialogue in Abuja

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, alongside other Service Chiefs, on Monday attended the Fourth UK-Nigeria Security and Defence Partnership Dialogue at the Office of the National Security Adviser in Abuja.

The dialogue brought together senior security and defence officials from Nigeria and the United Kingdom to discuss areas of mutual interest and strengthen bilateral security cooperation.

Discussions focused on counter-terrorism, intelligence sharing, capacity building and other collaborative measures aimed at addressing emerging security threats.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for both countries to review ongoing security partnerships and explore strategies for enhancing regional stability, national security and sustainable peace.

The UK-Nigeria Security and Defence Partnership Dialogue is part of efforts by both nations to deepen cooperation in tackling evolving security challenges through intelligence-led and coordinated responses.
