The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has reaffirmed his commitment to a fruitful partnership with the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) during a courtesy visit by the committee’s delegation at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) Anthony Placid on Thursday.

According to the statement, the PCRC delegation, led by National Chairman, Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, comprised key members of the National Executive Committee and representatives from various regional commands.
Olaniyan congratulated IGP Disu on his appointment and reaffirmed PCRC’s loyalty and support for the Nigeria Police Force, commending the Inspector-General for recognizing PCRC’s contributions to national security.
IGP Disu expressed appreciation for PCRC’s sustained support and assured the delegation of the Force’s full cooperation.

He charged PCRC leadership to maintain strict oversight and ensure PCRC identification is used exclusively for legitimate purposes and intelligence gathering, emphasizing that members should remain exemplary citizens to preserve the partnership’s integrity.
This engagement highlights the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to fostering strong community relations and collaborative security efforts nationwide, aligning with IGP Disu’s vision for effective policing.
