The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has dealt a major blow to Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters with a precision strike that flattened a key terrorist enclave at ARRA in the Sambisa axis, following fresh intelligence on movements linked to the 17 October ambush on troops at KASHOMRI.
According to the statement signed by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, the air interdiction mission was executed on 19 November 2025 after persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) revealed suspicious activities, active structures, and coordinated terrorist manoeuvres within the ARRA hideout.

The statement said the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI subsequently launched coordinated air strike attacks, destroying identified structures and severely degrading the terrorists’ command, logistics and operational capabilities. It added that the impact of the mission has further disrupted hostile networks across the Sambisa corridor.
The NAF has reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining pressure on terrorist groups, supporting surface forces and defending the nation’s territorial integrity through continuous, intelligence-driven operations across all theatres.
