NAFOWA Secondary School Graduates Pioneer Students in Abuja

The Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association Secondary School, Asokoro, Abuja, has graduated its pioneer set of students, marking a major milestone since the establishment of the institution.

The maiden graduation ceremony brought together senior Nigerian Air Force officers, NAFOWA members, parents and other guests to celebrate the students’ completion of secondary education.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President of NAFOWA, Mrs Ngozi Aneke, described the graduation as the fulfilment of the Association’s vision to provide quality, affordable and value-based education.

Mrs Aneke said the achievement demonstrated the school’s commitment to academic excellence, discipline, integrity and leadership. She also acknowledged the contribution of former NAFOWA National President, Mrs Elizabeth Amao, whom she credited with providing the leadership that led to the establishment of the school.

She charged the graduating students to uphold integrity, humility and excellence and to remain worthy ambassadors of their families, the school, NAFOWA, the Nigerian Air Force and Nigeria.

The NAFOWA President also encouraged younger students to emulate the pioneer class, stressing that hard work, consistency and resilience were essential to achieving success.

The ceremony featured the presentation of certificates and awards to students who distinguished themselves in academics and character.

In her remarks, the Commandant of the school, Flight Lieutenant Ngozi Ogbo, commended teachers, parents and NAFOWA members for their contributions to the development of the institution.

Flight Lieutenant Ogbo congratulated the graduating students for becoming the school’s first alumni and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to maintaining high standards of academic excellence, discipline and moral development.
