The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap, has received the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on a courtesy visit at the Service Headquarters in Abuja, with both agencies reaffirming commitment to stronger security collaboration.

According to a statement signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, DCI AS Akinlabi, the meeting focused on enhancing inter-agency cooperation in national security, border management, intelligence sharing, capacity building and coordinated responses to transnational crimes.

The statement said the engagement brought together senior officers from both the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Nigeria Police Force, with emphasis on the need for synergy in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity and strengthening internal security.

Nandap appreciated the visit and reiterated the Service’s commitment to deepening strategic partnerships with the police and other security agencies to improve law enforcement, migration governance and national stability.
