Eaglesfm 102.3 The bedrock for quality broadcasting

By Toffa Momoh I Abuja
A severe rainstorm accompanied by strong winds has ravaged the newly constructed Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja, just nine months after its inauguration by Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike.

The terminal’s roof was torn off, scattering debris across the Nyanya-Keffi Expressway and causing massive traffic congestion.
The incident has sparked concerns about the quality of the multi-billion naira project, which was commissioned with great fanfare.
The terminal, part of a broader N51 billion transport infrastructure initiative, was built by Planet Projects Nigeria Limited and designed to handle over 10,000 passengers daily.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has directed urgent repairs and deployed security personnel to maintain order. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties, but the incident has raised questions about the structural integrity of newly completed projects in Abuja.
