The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, has approved the appointment and redeployment of 65 Rear Admirals in the Nigerian Navy to various key positions at the Naval Headquarters, Commands, and Tri-Service Institutions. The large-scale postings, approved on Thursday, October 30, 2025, reflect the CNS’s renewed effort to strengthen the Navy’s operational efficiency and fulfil its constitutional mandate following his assumption of office as the 23rd indigenous naval chief.
