Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have repelled a coordinated attack by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Gajibo, Borno State, and arrested suspected collaborators during ongoing operations across the North East.
The military said the terrorists, who advanced on motorcycles with support weapons, were detected approaching the town from multiple directions before troops engaged them with heavy firepower and mortar attacks, forcing them to retreat.

In a statement issued by the Media Information Officer of Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, troops later recovered ammunition and combat accessories from the scene, while no casualty was recorded among soldiers.
Troops, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), also arrested two suspected Boko Haram collaborators in Gubio town.

In a separate operation, troops arrested a suspected terrorist logistics supplier, Umar Ahmadu, in Gwoza following intelligence from a surrendered terrorist associate.
The military further disclosed that a 17-year-old relative of a terrorist surrendered to troops along the Gwoza–Limankara axis, while two kidnapped victims were rescued near Mafa town after escaping from captivity.

The Joint Task Force said troops remain committed to sustaining operations against terrorism and restoring peace across the North East.
