With less than 48 hours to the close of the summer transfer window, Liverpool are still in the market for a defensive midfielder and have identified Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi as the man for the position.
The midfielder has just a year left on his contract with Leicester City and the Foxes are hoping to make some money from the sale of the midfielder, rather than lose him for free.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano had stated that Nottingham Forest were very keen on adding more steel in midfield in the form of Ndidi, with personal terms already agreed with the player.
However, Liverpool.com on Wednesday highlighted why the Reds were in need of the Nigerian’s services
