The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the dismissal of 115 personnel as part of sweeping reforms within the agency.
In a notice published on Tuesday, the secret police cautioned members of the public against conducting any official business with the affected individuals, emphasizing that they no longer represent the Service.
The DSS also released the names and photographs of the dismissed officers on its official website. According to the agency, the dismissals occurred between 2024 and 2025.
This development follows the arrest of two dismissed operatives, Barry Donald and Victor Godwin, in October 2025, who were accused of using the DSS’s name to defraud unsuspecting citizens. Prior to their arrest, the agency had warned the public to avoid any dealings with the duo over alleged fraudulent activities.
The DSS reiterated its commitment to internal reforms aimed at strengthening professionalism, integrity, and accountability within the organization.
