The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Bode Ojajuni, has conducted an inspection of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the state to assess security arrangements for the ongoing examinations.
The inspection, carried out alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Bolanle Muritala, focused on evaluating the deployment of personnel and ensuring the safety of candidates sitting for the exams.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the visit was aimed at reinforcing the command’s commitment to providing a secure and conducive environment for students to write their examinations without fear or intimidation.
Ojajuni expressed satisfaction with the professionalism and conduct of officers deployed to the centres, stressing that the protection of students remains a top priority for the command.

He assured parents, guardians and other stakeholders of adequate security coverage throughout the examination period and urged candidates to remain orderly and cooperate with security personnel to ensure a smooth exercise.

The inspection forms part of ongoing proactive policing efforts by the Ogun State Command under Ojajuni’s leadership, which has been characterised by intensified security patrols, improved response to public safety concerns and sustained engagement with communities to strengthen confidence in policing across the state.
